Gerrards purchase all Platinum Group Metals (PGMs) in any form, including scrap jewellery, catalytic converter (decanned), dental labware, lemels, sweeps or from other industrial sources.

You can come to our buying counter in London (Hatton Garden) to sell your platinum directly in person. Otherwise, your can send your item to us by Post via insured carrier (like Royal Mail Special Delivery).

How to Sell your Platinum ?

You must provide the following documents

Photo ID (Valid passport or driving license)¹.

Proof of Address (Recent utility bill less than 3 months old).

Copy of a recent Bank Statement, showing the account holder name, address, account number and sort code. We do not require to see any balances or transfers. These can be blanked out.

How to send my documents?

There are 4 simple ways for you to send us your documents.

include the copy of your documents with your parcel.
scan or take a photo of your documents and send them to us by email at info@gerrardsbullion.com.
send them by post at our London office. See our postal address below.
come directly to our office in Hatton Garden (London, EC1N 8LE) and deliver them personally.

Fill in our postal form including weights and carats of your items as well as your contact details and preferred payment method.Please remember to include your documents.

2) Send your items via Royal Mail

Send your items using Royal Mail Special Delivery (to insure your goods are insured during the delivery) at our office address:

3) Receive your Payment

Our purchasing prices will be based on the current LPPM Fix on the day we receive your goods.

We will contact you by phone or email to give you the valuation of your items and obtain your agreement to proceed to the payment.

Walk-in Prices

Are you looking to sell your platinum in person? Our Trade Counter in London's Hatton Garden is open Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 4:30pm with secure parking available upon request.

Your items will be valued in front of you by a member of staff. With 50 years' experience in the jewellery and precious metals trade, Gerrards guarantees a fast and dependable service. You can choose to be paid :

on the live precious metal prices (with no hidden fees), or
on the next available LPPM fix (for true transparency, also with no hidden fees)

The LPPM Platinum Fix is the official benchmark for the platinum price. It can be found in multiple location, with prices quoted twice daily.

Payment can be made by bank transfer (BACS, FPS or CHAPS), cheque or cash².
